Regional Press and Local radio stations feature 2-
Regional Press like the Bath Chronicle carried news of National Marriage Week and the launch of 2-in-2-1. The founder of National Marriage Week said "In this new millenium, I believe all sectors of society ranging from Government, the church, the wedding industry and commerce all need to take more responsibility for how marriage is perceived, and work together in creating better, healthier marriages."
In the course of National Marriage Week 2-in-2-1 featured on several Local Radio broadcasts including Dragon FM, UCB, Thames FM and Southern Counties. “Marriage Support today has got to embrace every channel to reach the public” said Dave Percival in one of the broadcasts. “There is a vast amount of knowledge and wisdom available on how to have a successful and fulfilling marriage in the network of marriage support organisations. The challenge is that people either don’t know who to ask, or are too shy and embarrassed to do so. Our aim is to bridge that gap, and help people find the advice and services they really need. The internet is the ideal medium, offering anonymity and confidentiality – it’s today’s way!”
